Support Linguistics at UCSC

Thank you for your interest in supporting Linguistics! We are a vibrant, internationally-recognized department dedicated to outstanding teaching and mentoring, cutting-edge research, and the development of society's understanding of the role language plays in our lives.

Like other programs at UC, we face the challenge of decreased funding from the State of California. With our outstanding faculty, staff, and students, we are sure to maintain the excellence our programs are known for. But your support can make the difference in helping us to achieve concrete goals in a number of areas.

You can support the department directly by contributing to the Linguistics Fund. This gives us the discretion to use your contribution to support any of our endeavors, for undergraduate or graduate teaching, as well as research.

You can also support individual programs in Linguistics by contributing to another of our funds:
