Nido de Lenguas: Clases is starting again this week. These biweekly Zapotec language classes are taught by Maestra Fe Silva-Robles and will take place every other Thursday evening (by Zoom), starting on October 29.
This is the fourth year that linguists at UCSC have been collaborating with the local non-profit organization Senderos to teach the Santiago Laxopa variety of Zapotec to community members. Clases is free and open to the public. All oral instruction is in Spanish only; written materials are in Spanish and English.
